I’m a fiction editor who specializes in addressing the diverse needs of all kinds of writers. Whether it’s marking up a physical copy of your manuscript with Post-Its and an erasable pen, recording my notes in audio form, or simply providing a gentle, empathetic touch for a nervous first-timer, I am prepared to do whatever it takes to get you an editing experience that makes you feel listened to.
I have experience in all levels of editing, from light copy edits to in-depth developmental edits. I’m particularly good with smooth, natural dialogue and consistent tone. I have a Specialized Certificate in Copy Editing from UC San Diego and several years of freelance editing. As I grow and expand my client base, I’m hoping to specialize in more forms of editing that are disability accessible: interactable audio notes, color coding, and more.
